UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers.
Almost 2,000 PG&E customers in Central Bakersfield are without power, according to the utility's outage map.
The outage first registered on the map just after 7:00 a.m. Sunday.
Crews are assessing the scene at this time and the cause of the outage is still unknown.
PG&E estimates that power will be restored for impacted customers by 10:15 Sunday morning.
