Thousands without power in east, northeast Bakersfield

Thousands in east and northeast Bakersfield are without power Monday morning.

According to Pacific Gas & Electric, there are two outages impacting about 3,800 customers.

The largest outage is in the northeast in the area of Highway 178 and Alfred Harrell Highway. That outage is impacting nearly 2,400 customers.

Another outage in the area of Niles, Fairfax and Edison Highway is impacting about 1,400 customers.

There's no cause on either.
