UPDATE: Power has been restored to most of Northwest Bakersfield. PG&E reported 21 customers still without power.

A power outage has left over 1,700 customers without electricity in Northwest Bakersfield.

Pacific and Gas Electric Co. reported 1,714 customers without power.

The outage ranges from Rosedale Highway to Olive Drive, and from Fruitvale Avenue to Knudsen Drive.

PG&E did not report an estimated power restoration time.

No word yet on the cause of the outage.
