Three businesses west of Highway 99 in Bakersfield were broken into within an hour on Monday, according to Bakersfield police.
The incidents happened early Monday around 2 a.m.
Honeybaked Ham on Ming Avenue was broken into by multiple suspects who smashed the glass door and forced their way inside. The suspects used force to open an empty safe.
The Flame Broiler on Coffee Road was burglarized only a half an hour later. Three suspects smashed a glass window and forced open safes, stealing cash.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Stine Road was broken into and cash was stolen.
It is unclear if these incidents are related.
