BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The Bakersfield Police Department has released information on the three people who fled from a home explosion in the 11000 block of Privet Place in Southwest Bakersfield on Tuesday afternoon.
A 59-year-old man suffered moderate burn injuries, while a 38-year-old man received moderate to major burn injuries. An 18-year-old man was detained, but did not have any injuries.
The damage of the explosion was $450,000 according to the Bakersfield Fire Department.
Arson units are still investigating the cause of the fire and there are currently no suspects in custody.
