The Kern High School District is looking in to three schools that experienced student issues over the past couple days.

Since Monday, there have been five incidents of students involved in fights on campus at West High School.

The fighting in the videos has reported it been sparked by disputes among groups of girls.

Extra security has been put in place. The incidents were investigated and disciplinary action was taken.

A threatening comment was written on the wall in a restroom at Independence High School Tuesday, however the threat was deemed non-credible.

The school increased security for the rest of the day and parents were notified.

Liberty High School experienced incidents of derogatory tagging. The school is investigating the vandalism.

The incidents are not connected.
