Timeline released for Benjamin Greene emergency response

Hall Ambulance has released a statement and a timeline regarding their response during the emergency situation which eventually led to the death of local attorney Benjamin Greene.

Greene died Tuesday evening while participating in a 5K Race at Hart Park during triple-digit heat. 

This was the statement and timeline released by Hall Ambulance:

"On Tuesday, June 20, 2017 Hall Ambulance Service received a request from the Kern County Emergency Communications Center to respond to a man down near the Kern County Soccer Park. The Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance crew arrived on scene to find an off duty Kern County Firefighter performing high quality CPR. Firefighters from the Bakersfield Fire Department arrived on scene and assisted the ALS Ambulance Crew with care during transport. The off duty firefighter also accompanied the ambulance crew to Kern Medical.

The ALS Ambulance crew responded from Oswell Street and Mallview Road. They entered Hwy 178 eastbound, exited on Fairfax and proceeded north to Alfred Harrell Highway where they turned to the east towards the soccer park.
