The Welcome Home Soldier Foundation is hosting a Tomato Bacon Festival on Saturday. 

The event will feature live music, food and beer. 

The event is sponsored by the Welcome Home Soldier Foundation which is a non-profit foundation in Ventura County welcoming home WWII veterans to present and provide sleeping bags to the homeless men and women of the military forces. 

The event will be held at California State University, Bakersfield located at 9001 Stockdale Highway from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. 

The event is free to attend.
