Storms around the Central Valley were strong enough over the weekend to cause a tornado in Fresno County.

According to the National Weather Service's Hanford office, on Sunday an EF0 tornado was reported in the area of Huron, which is in between Lemoore and Coalinga.

According to the NWS, there was no damage in the area, but the tornado touched down with 70 mile per hour winds. The NWS said, "The tornado was on the ground for a minute or less with a pass length of 100 yards."
