The Tehachapi Police Department will be hosting an identity theft awareness seminar on Thursday November 17, 2017. The department is hosting the seminar in order to alert the public on how to avoid being a victim of identity theft and how to recover if one happens to be victimized. 

The seminar will be held inside of the Tehachapi Police Department community room at 6 p.m.Over the past couple of months, millions of Americans have had their personal information compromised due to data breaches. The seminar will help provide tips on how to keep your information safe in case something like this happens.
