BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ford Avenue will be closed to traffic between Dunlap Street and North Stine Road during daytime hours on August 27.

The closure is needed to place concrete for the new eastbound bridge deck.

The concrete pour is expected to begin at 3 a.m. and to be completed by noon.

Residents can detour around the work zone by using Joseph Drive/McDonald Way.
