A single-vehicle crash on eastbound 58 is slowing traffic in the area.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatchers website a vehicle crashed off the Cottonwood Road on ramp.
Officials said the vehicle was abandoned by the time they got on scene.
The crash knocked over several sand barrels and the number two and three eastbound lanes are covered with dirt. Officials are diverting traffic in the area.
Officials are contacting CalTrans for street sweepers.
Avoid the area and use an alternate route.
