BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: CHP says the issue with the railroad crossing arms has been fixed. Traffic flow through the area has returned to normal.
California Highway Patrol says to expect traffic delays if you are headed down Rosedale Highway Monday afternoon.
CHP says malfunctioning railroad crossing arms at Rosedale Highway and Camino Del Rio are to blame for the delays. They say the arms are not returning to their upright position, so officers are holding them to allow cars to pass through.
CHP is working with the railroad company to correct the issue. There is no word on how long it will take to correct.
