BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Westbound 58 at Highway 223 is down to 2 lanes as after a semi truck was flipped on its side and its load was spilled into the roadway overnight.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident page crews are working to clean up approximately a football field size worth of carrots in the roadway.
CHP says they do not know how long the lanes will be closed.
