CAL CITY, Calif. — The Cal City Police Department says they responded to a fatal accident involving a big rig and a moped.
Officials say that the accident happened around 12 p.m. Monday. Further investigation revealed that the moped driver was a 47-year-old woman.
She reportedly died at the scene. A postmortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause and manner of death.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
