BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — At least one person is dead following a crash Friday evening in Shafter according to the CHP Traffic Incident site.

Early reports show that the accident happened on Lerdo Highway and Leonard Avenue just after 8 p.m.

According to CHP, the driver was a solo female driver who was ejected from the vehicle while traveling eastbound. Officials said the vehicle rolled over on the left shoulder.
