UPDATE: One of two people killed in the accident has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher Raoul Dismus. He was the driver of the vehicle that was struck by the wrong-way driver.
Two people are dead following a head-on collision on Highway 58.
According to the CHP it happened just before midnight when an SUV and a Nissan Altima collided in the westbound lanes near Edison Road. It has been confirmed that one of the cars was going the wrong way.
Both drivers were pronounced dead.
