A crash involving multiple vehicles, including a big rig, has caused slowing on Northbound 99 near Planz Road on Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, traffic was slowing on Northbound 99 near Plans due to Caltrans construction.

The CHP says at about 2 a.m., a the driver of a big rig failed to slow down and hit one vehicle, causing a chain reaction. Four total vehicles collided due to the big rig's impact.

The CHP says one person suffered minor injuries.
