Traffic signal at Oak St. & Truxtun Ave. may cause temporary delays

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The City of Bakersfield is warning drivers about a traffic signal issue at Oak Street and Truxtun Avenue.

According to city officials the signal is in a "flash mode".

The City of Bakersfield’s Public Works Department is working to restore normal operations of the signal, according to officials.

Traffic delays are expected as crews work to determine what is causing the issue.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes, or to expect delays.
