The man suspected of attempting to murder a 46-year-old man in East Bakersfield was in court Thursday.
The trial for 21-year-old Anthony Jerome Laws was set for May 15.
Laws has been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm, first degree murder, and other charges.
The incident happened in June 2015.
