Enjoy a safe and fun Halloween event at Trunk or Treat this Friday.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is holding "Safe Trunk or Treat" at the KCSO East Bakersfield Substation Friday, Oct. 27 for kids to enjoy an event while staying safe.

There will be agency vehicles lined up to give goodies and treats to kids from the trunks of vehicles. There will also be a haunted house, spooky maze, face painting and more.

KCSO is partnering with BPD, CHP, Hall Ambulance, and many other organizations. 

Candy and trick-or-treating is only for kids ages 12 and under. KCSO said supplies are limited to the first 300 trick-or-treaters.

Trunk or Treat will be at 1700 Flower Street from 5 to 7 p.m.
