Truxtun Avenue near the Westside Parkway is scheduled for nighttime closures next week.
On Tuesday, November 6 and Wednesday, November 7, the Kern River Bridge Improvement Project plans to re-stripe Truxtun Avenue and place temporary concrete barrier rail.
Truxtun Avenue will be closed in both directions in the area of the Westside Parkway on- and off-ramps between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. This includes the eastbound off-ramp from the Westside Parkway. Motorists will need to exit at Mohawk Street instead. The westbound on-ramp will remain open.
On Thursday, November 8, the westbound Truxtun Avenue on-ramp to the Westside Parkway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Westbound motorists will need to enter the Westside Parkway from Mohawk Street.
