Two were arrested for firearm and gang related charges Monday in Southeast Bakersfield.
Police conducted a subject stop around 7 p.m. near Watts Drive and Wingstone Drive. The subjects were seen discarding a loaded .45 caliber firearm.
Jemiah Dawson, 21, and a 17-year-old male were taken into custody.
