BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two people are behind bars Sunday morning after the Kern County Sheriff's gang unit deputies conducted a search in south Bakersfield Saturday.
When gang unit officials arrived on scene in the 1800 block of Cecil Brunner Drive, deputies discovered six ounces of suspected methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia, along with a loaded firearm.
29-year-old Chelsey Becas and 36-year-old Ruben Granados were both arrested for being armed while in possession of a control substance, maintaining a home for the purpose of drug sales, conspiracy and for being felons in possession of a firearm.
