Two babies were born in California with microcephaly by moms who were infected with Zika virus, reported the California Department of Health on Thursday.

The women contracted the virus after spending time in another country.

As of late July the health department confirmed 114 travel-related Zika virus infections in 22 counties and 21 infections in pregnant women.
