Two East Bakersfield restaurants re-open after being closed due to health code violations

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: Anita's Restaurant and Neveria Y Antojitos Las Tapatias both reopened Wednesday.

They were closed by the Kern County Public Health Department for selling food to the public without hot water at critical sinks.


Two restaurants in East Bakersfield have been closed by the Kern County Public Health Department due to health code violations.

Officials said Neveria and Antojitos Las Tapatias and Anita's Restaurant -- located inside the Mercado Latino-- were closed for selling food to the public without hot water at critical sinks.
