BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two U.S. Air Force Airmen have graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.

The airmen completed an intensive eight-week program focused on military training discipline and studies.

The airmen are Micheal Brown and Garrett M. Palmer.

Brown is the son of Charles and Iishia Brown of San Tan Valley, Arizona. He is also a 2013 graduate of Lemoore High School. Brown is also photographed above.

Palmer is the son of Matthew and Christina Palmer of Tehachapi and grandson of Cheryl and Jody Butler of Tehachapi and Beverly and Dewayne Palmer of Bakersfield.

He is a 2017 graduate of Tehachapi High School.
