Two local runners finished in the top five in both the men's and women's division in the 2nd Bakersfield Marathon.
Thousands of runners from 170 cities and 14 states ran through Bakersfield on Sunday.
The route took runners through CSUB and up to the Northeast part of Bakersfield, then back to campus.
The 23ABC team had a couple of runners in the marathon, the half marathon and the 5K.
Many from 23ABC also cheered runners on and handed out waters at mile marker 23.
