UPDATE (10:15 a.m., Nov. 29): The Bakersfield Police Department has made a third arrest in connection with the murder on Truxtun Avenue.
BPD says 19-year-old Manuel Martinez was taken into custody Wednesday.
He faces a charge of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.
He's set to be in court Thursday.

UPDATE (Nov. 29, 4:07 p.m.): Two men who were arrested over the weekend in connection to a murder that happened earlier this month were in court on Tuesday.
Jose Gonzales and Carlos Garcia both pleaded not guilty on Nov. 29 to charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Gonzales and Garcia will be back in court on Dec. 8.

Two men were arrested over the weekend in connection to a murder that happened earlier this month in downtown Bakersfield.
Jose Gonzales and Carlos Garcia are accused of assaulting Isaac Ortiz on the 200 block of Truxtun Avenue on Nov. 4, according to Bakersfield Police.
Ortiz was taken to a local hospital where he died eight days later from his injuries.
Gonzales and Garcia are both charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and first-degree murder.
Police said they are still looking for another suspect involved.
