The Bakersfield Police department is searching for two suspects after a shooting just before 10 p.m. Friday night. 

Police said they responded to 8th St. and Union Ave. for reports of a shooting. Police found two men suffering from minor gun shot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown. 

Officials said the suspects were described as:

1) Black male, unknown age, slim build, short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue denim shorts. 

2) Black male, unknown age, slim build, short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts. 

Police said the suspects fled eastbound on 8th street from the scene on foot.
