On Monday, April 25, 2016 around 9:45 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 4500 block of Tierra Verde Street regarding two victims of a shooting.
On arrival, officers located two unnamed adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the adult males was suffering from a single, non-life threaten wound and was transported to a local area hospital.
The second victim sustained major injuries and was transported to a local area hospital, where tragically, he succumbed to those injuries.
Investigation has revealed both victims were inside the residence, when an unknown black male entered without their knowledge and began firing.
After shooting both victims, the suspect fled in an unknown direction, possibly occupying a black or dark colored sedan.
