Two men were shot early Thursday morning in South Bakersfield, according to Bakersfield Police.

The men were transferred to local hospitals with minor to moderate gunshot wounds. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. at Coventry Place Apartments.

Officers found several 9mm casings. The investigation is ongoing.
