BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials have reported two new human cases of West Nile in Kern County.
According to WestNile.ca.gov , the state's website that tracks the West Nile Virus, the two new human cases were reported this week.
Officials said the total number of human WNV cases are up to three for 2019. The first human case of the virus was reported in Kern County was on August 23.
So far, there have been 57 human cases in 12 counties across the state in 2019.
