Officials are handling an outbreak of Norovirus has been seen at two different senior living facilities in Southwest Bakersfield.
There are five tips to help prevent Norovirus from spreading:
- Practice proper hand hygiene
- Wash fruits and vegetables and cook seafood thoroughly
- When you are sick, do not prepare food or care for others
- Clean and disinfect contaminated surfaces
- Wash laundry thoroughly
