Two suspects arrested after robbing pizza delivery man in Ridgecrest

Posted

Ridgecrest Police Officers arrested two suspects for robbing a pizza delivery man last week.

Officers responded to the 500 block of South China Lake Blvd for reports of a robbery.

Officers said a 14-year-old juvenile attempted to rob a pizza delivery man with a gun. The victim attempted to defend himself by stabbing the teen suspect.

Officers located the juvenile nearby and transported him to an undisclosed hospital for stab wounds he received during the robbery.

After being released from the hospital, the juvenile was taken into custody for robbery.

The juvenile was booked into the Kern County Juvenile Hall.

The second suspect, Brandon Leuschen, was arrested Wednesday for conspiracy and accessory. After further investigation, it was determined that Leuschen assisted and aided the juvenile suspect in this crime.
