Bakersfield Police officials on Wednesday asked for the public to help them find two suspects wanted for armed robberies at two different recycling centers.
Bakersfield Police said at around 9:45 a.m., they were dispatched to the RV Recycling Center at 2601 White Ln. for a report of a robbery with a firearm that just occurred.
Officials there learned that learned that two suspects approached two victims in the parking lot of the business.
According to BPD, one of the suspects brandished a firearm and ordered the victims to give them currency and other property.
The suspects both fled in the below described vehicle.
Shortly after that offense, another armed robbery occurred at the RV Recycling Center located at 9300 S. Union Ave.
BPD says that it appears that the same suspects are responsible for both offenses.
Officers released the following descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle:
Suspect #1- Black male, 18-30, 5’09”-5’10”, Gray-hooded Sweatshirt (armed with a black semi-automatic pistol)
Suspect #2, Black or Hispanic Male, 18-20, Black-hooded Sweatshirt
Suspect Vehicle: Newer, maroon, possible Ford (4 door)
