UPDATE (Aug. 5, 2017): Bakersfield Police said a white SUV was traveling west on McKee Rd. and failed to yield to a northbound pickup truck resulting in a collision. Two people were transported to the hospital, one from each vehicle involved.
BPD said the injuries are minor to moderate.

A two-vehicle crash has blocked the roadway in southwest Bakersfield.
It happened just before 11 a.m. near McKee Rd. and Ashe Rd.
Initial reports are that the injuries are minor to moderate.
