Two women were shot in Southwest Bakersfield early this morning.

Around 12:24 a.m., BPD officers responded to the 4600 block of Gardenwood Lane in Southwest Bakersfield regarding a report of gunshots. When the officers arrived, they found two adult females suffering from gunshot wounds. The two were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
