U.S. Air Force Airman Brian J. James graduates from basic military training

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — U.S. Air Force Airman Brian J. James has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas, according to a news release.

James completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

After completing basic training, James also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

James is the son of Hayley and Frederick James and graduated from Bakersfield High School in 2013.
