A United States Marine has tested positive for COVID-19 Saturday, according to the Department of Defense.
In a press release released Saturday, the DOD stated that the marine, stationed at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, is being treated at Fort Belvoir Community Hosopital.
"The Marine recently returned from overseas where he was on official business," the release states.
The DOD added that the Secretary of Defense and White House have been notified.
