University of California workers from the University's Patient Care Treatment are calling for a three day strike from October 23 through October 25.
The University of California's largest employee union, AFSCMR said that the working will be staging a walkout at all UC Medical Centers in solidarity by AFSCME Local 3299 represented service workers as well as Professional Healthcare, Research and Technical workers represented by UPTE-CWA.
In a vote earlier this week, AFSCME Local 3299 members authorized a strike by a 96 percent margin.
