CSUB is hosting a National Voter Registration Day event on its campus on Tuesday where the community can receive help in registering to vote.

The UFW Foundation teamed up with the Associated Students Inc. of CSUB as part of a nationwide drive to get people registered.

The goal for today's event at the school held between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. is to increase voter participation by encouraging Americans to cast their ballots in every election in Kern County.

The National Voter Registration Event will take place at the Red Brick Road at CSUB, Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield 93311.
