UPDATE: The Lake fire near Lake Hughes at last check has decreased in burned acreage, now at a total of 14,714.
According to the L.A. County Fire Department improved infrared mapping of the fire perimeter revealed a decrease in acreage burned.
The fire is now at 12% containment. There are six structures destroyed, three damaged, and 4,570 threatened.
They expect to have the fire at full containment on September 2nd.
