Recalled ground beef may have possibly been sold at Safeway, Target and Sam's Club stores nationwide according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Officials say that the list may not include all retail locations that have received the recalled product. The latest outbreak of the recalled ground beef is due to a possible E. Coli contamination. So far the E. Coli outbreak has killed one person and sickened 17.
Last week, the USDA said that Cargill Meat Solutions in For Morgan, Colorado was recalling more than 132 thousand pounds of ground beef products made from the chuck portion of the carcass all were contaminated with E. Coli.
