The Pacific Southwest island nation of Fiji was rocked by a magnitude 7.8 earthquake Thursday morning.
According to the U.S. Geologiical Survey, the quake hit just before 9 a.m. Pacific Time.
A 5.5 was reported Wednesday in Fiji.
