The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Searles Valley early Tuesday morning.

The quake was reported near Ridgecrest, less than a month following the massive 7.1 and 6.4 quakes that rocked the region earlier in July.

Since the 7.1 struck Ridgecrest on July 5, the area has been hit with thousands of aftershocks.

No damage or injuries have been reported following Tuesday morning's quake.
