BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — With rainy weather moving across the state, California Highway Patrol are reminding drivers of the importance of using your headlights and windshield wipers.
The Mariposa division of CHP posting that California Vehicle code requires headlights to be used when windshield wipers are needed. They say even though it's the law, it's a safety concern for drivers. The rain combined with foggy conditions can make it difficult for drivers to see other cars, even in the daylight.
