Kern County Fire crews are working a house fire in East Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Eucalyptus and Morning drives across from Foothill High School. 

It's not known what caused the fire. Fire officials say the blaze is suspicious after the house caught fire about 12 hours earlier on Tuesday. 

Fire crews say the house was vacant at the time of the blaze.
