A collision between a vehicle and pedestrian happened just after 8 p.m. on Monday, November 26 on Norris Road and McCray Street.

According to California Highway Patrol, a man was picking something up in the roadway. An oncoming driver of a red Jeep braked but still hit the pedestrian.

Officials said that the injuries are minor to moderate.
