BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The jury has found Prentice Foreman guilty of first-degree murder in 40-year-old cold case of Dawn Koons, court officials confirmed to 23ABC News.
Foreman was arrested in 2017, nearly 40 years after the murder of Koons in 1979. The jury started deliberations late on Monday.
Foreman is scheduled to be sentenced on July 10.
